Sailing across the gulf with you
made all my dreams come true .
You held me on the deck
as the gentle breezes blew.
I never want this moment to end
as time is standing still.
no one else is in the world
but the one holding me, YOU.
You brush the hair from my face
I gaze into your eyes.
My heart is melted butter.
I never question why.
I never want our moment to end
as the time is standing still
You are the shelter in my world
Let’s never let it end.
My heart is the ticking time clock
I need the touch of your hand.
Your finger tips to wind me
so this feeling never stops.
I never want this moment to end
the time doesn't need to be still
I'll cherish every moment
of the one holding me, YOU.
