This goes out to the one,
the one who begun this downpour
This typhoon of evolving thought.

This precognitive child that can do nothing
but Wait.

For one day his time will come,
This ebony cloak woven by the structure of "the people"
Will smolder away in burning disgust.

For though logic claims the shortest path
Is through the heart,
Logic has little to do with this.

For as this "logic" and "reality" match wits,
In this eternal struggle for divine power,
Our feel for what's real will lead us through
This jungle.

For times, all one can do is sit back
As thought itself is tumbled,
By you.

For the fiends of law and logic
Find integrity and caring to be the most delectable of prey,
And so you feed it 'till it's pious and proud.

As its obesity knows no bounds, it knows parameters
And maybe, just maybe one day
One heartbeat away
Truth may catch the blur of reason.

And you,
The harbinger of virtue, will call out his name.
For though many are humbled in this wisdom,
These breaths go to none but

The One.
