Yes, truth is truth
And will overcome
Clever arguments
Of men in dispute.
It's given to a human
Only at rare moments
To perceive the truth,
And it is these moments
Of truth that will survive,
But not individual opinions.
The formidable marshalling
Of evidence can often lead us
To inference which is simply
Learned simply flat nonsense.
For showing of such perceptions,
We need as simple as possible talk.
For subtle truth can never be proved--
It can only be hinted at, that's it.
Such a glimpse it is! Such a glimpse.
Language is often misbegotten. Visual proof can go a long way in determining the truth.
As I observed those fellows in those strange fur hats… They may be warm, but those hats look so uncomfortable, one would certainly question their veracity.
