The green of the grass the blue of the sea,
the birds chirping loudly and singing to me.
The gold of the sands that stretch across the shores,
the mountains that rise up giving the scenery more.
But this is not what my children will see,
for when they grow up it will cease to be.
Digging for oil and natural gas,
with greed and power that will not last.
Because when the earth can no longer sustain,
it will be the human race that will feel the most pain.
