On a Nectarine 

Such succulence! Such firmness!

The curvatures of the orb accentuate the depths of her valleys.

The velvety smoothness of her skin, quite unlike the fuzziness of the peach, nearly bursts to expose her fleshy juices, the secret nectar of the gods!

Is there another prodigy of Mother Nature quite as promiscuous and sensuous?

Such pulpiness! Such profundity!

That first plunge into her sweetness causes one to savor her satiety, momentarily sending the senses reeling.

She is the seductive siren who wreaks havoc upon the taste buds and palate alike.

Yet, her captivating aroma promises: more, more, more! Whereupon the inept diner abruptly discovers her true soul within her moist depths.

Such rigidness-Such unyielding strength!

Her seed, as yet un-pierced, lies protected within her pit, surrounded by pithiness.

Alas, now that we have done with her, she will be cast aside --- used! 

But, after a time of dormancy, when the warm spring sun follows upon a
