things never seem the same.

Our hearts are weighing heavy

without your warming smiles.

We long to see and hug you.

It’s been such a long, long while.

We know that you’re with God

and all the angels up above.

But, hope that you still feel from us

our unconditional love.

You’re on our minds and in our hearts

through the busiest of days.

Your continuous devotion

gave us love so many ways.

Even though our eyes can’t see you,

to guide your family day to day.
