What is this now I’m so compelled to feel?
Are love and dreams at last becoming real?
I’m paralyzed by all those long-lost dreams.
But suddenly you’ve silenced all my screams.

Day after day I’ve teased myself with you.
So obvious you’re too good to be true .
But suddenly you put all this on me.
As if I could unleash the ecstasy.

Well- dearest one, I kneel and bow my head
Because the truth is all I ever said.
You’re everything I’ve ever felt inside
When all the love I’ve known has been denied.

But here you are now, springing your surprise.
I took it in and can’t believe my eyes.
When everything I ever dared to pray
