Finding soliture in a world of chaos.
The house is quiet, Not a whisper anywhere, Other than the rhythmic, Sound of sleep. No clatter of voices, Dogs barking nor, Cats meowing, But unadultered silence. A quiet time, The mind unleashed, To create new ideas, In silence, undisturbed. A time to contemplate, The world around us, Meditate freely upon, Good and evil.

I love your poem Carol! It seems we both appreciate the quiet time of reminscing. Your poem reminds me of my poem "Idle Time!" I guess great minds think alike. :) As always, I enjoy reading your work and thanks for sharing your wonderful poems!
