WHEN FRIENDS REACH OUT!

When my friends reach out, our souls connect.
Something indescribable fills the air as we speak of our day,
our successes, our fears or our difficulties.
It’s about being there for each other
~ picking up where we left off ~
knowing instinctively what to say or do.

The rules are quite simple.
We open our hearts, tell our stories, and,
if asked for, give heartfelt advice.
When we talk about life’s challenges or troubles,
we offer empathy, support and reassurance.
While describing a vision or a dream,
our unique potential is validated.
And, when there is a victory, we cheer in triumph
and revel in delight!
Through the bond of time, history, and caring,
our foundation is reinforced.
