Endless
I pray that you will grant me
A day of radiant light
To break into the darkness
Of this endless night
A ray of hope sent from above
A glimmer to help me walk
Through a silent world of pain
When I can hardly talk
A window that looks out from
This prison, to see the moon
Keeping its endless vigil
May daylight visit soon
No companion left within
All exhausted, all have gone
I must still carry on
Until this pain has gone
So, I pray for the energy
If I must endure some more
And courage to keep going
Until I see the open door
