Kindness talked and listened

Her energy she used

To help was her intention

Naive,

Her aid could be abused

Her effort she gave willingly

But this became expected

Taken for a ride, but one

Which she had not directed

She became uncertain

And anxious to do right

' Kindness needs kindness

And others to match your light'

What could she do

As kindness to another

Was her very nature

She knew not any other

Then Sensible came along

She gave her some advise

'Do not let your nature make

You become unwise

You should be valued

Your nature others learn

But, while people do not change

Your dinner you must earn

Give not of your energy

If the wind blows it away

Save it for a worthy one

On their darkest day'

'But, surely that is selfish'

Kindness then replied

'You can take no notice

Of all that is implied

But you are now mortal

Living with their rules

Some are good, some are bad

But others act as fools

You are who you are

And goodness all can see

My advise is be careful, and

Vulnerable never be .'
