Doing nothing of importance
A ‘wow’ moment in time
It didn’t last long
But I heard something chime
It wasn’t a light,
More a bell, in my head
‘I was getting better’
I had nearly been dead
'I have moved quickly
Not slow as a snail'
How could that be?
Well - that’s not for this tale
I hadn’t been trying
I didn’t have to go far
But the door that was closed
Was now ‘just ajar’
For this very moment
I had waited for years
Thought it would never happen
I’ve shed many tears
I still have to travel
A long road to be well
But, of this realisation
I just wanted to tell
It’s surprising how quickly
Inner vistas can change
I see beaches and hills
With no limit to range
I shall no longer be
Confined to the bed
The room or the house
They could happen instead
My message to anyone
Is always have hope
With courage and endurance
It helps you to cope
Maybe a ‘wow’ moment
Is there ‘in the wings'
It may mean nothing to others
But your heart now sings

You are obviously doing things the right way..
Onwards and upwards!
