A message to God

Poem Artwork

Message sent.

‘God, if you can hear me,

I need help upon this earth.

Yes, I know I’m recovering,

But, as yet it has no worth.

I am not as ill as I was,

Yet not well as I should be.

Everything is still halted.

If only you could see.

This has lasted many years,

Yet, I continue to have hope.

That one day, maybe, sometime,

I shall no longer fight to cope.

If only you had a telescope,

In your spiritual home on high.

I think you would have sympathy,

For those on earth who cry.

Many are ill, many starve,

Many are hurt and maimed.

Mankind is quite cruel,

And often you are blamed.

As people believe in religions,

Fight each other for their views.

I think you ought to know all this,

But, maybe it isn’t news.

Anyway, my little moan is small,

It doesn’t compare

To those, whom I have mentioned,

And the children without care.

So, look on them, forget me.

Help those who have most need.

But, you gave me this life, so,

What I notice, you may heed.

There seems to be some dark force,

Bringing pain along its way.

Maybe you could help to stop it.

And that is all I have to say’.

Why do we have to seek him to blame or to confide in? Why can't we just deal with the problems we see? That is what is strange. We have invented God so that we can blame him/her for anything that goes wrong in our lives.

Oh, I believe He knows and that Revelations is happening right now. I bet He is disgusted with mankind for treating this earth the way they have come to be treating it. He created earth first. He will protect her and those who respect her. Your write awakens the mind. Love it!

Love ya!
