The first arrival in my garden’s black,
is the radish, small but surprisingly stout.
I truly welcome this acerbic snack
as example of what good life’s about.
We all may perish to suit a ruler’s taste
but chomp on the radish, they bite you back!
For subsistence they may be a waste,
but other defenses they sadly lack.
They never resist when they are seized
but no one can eat more than just a few.
Your consumer’s guilt is not quickly eased
as revengeful heartburns torture you.
Radishes are great with mustard on a 1/2 a sandw.Mmm!
or between 2 Breakfast sausages (cooked golden brown) and sliced radishes, I'm waiting for our aisle to grow, not yet do I see them stir...
Our horseradish has thrived 2 years now and that I look forward too, on Roast Pork or Grilled....
I also use chopped radishes in my Egg Salad and of course in salads... YOU makin' me hungry!
WE have our peppers to count on right now... and using in Sauces...

Cute, nice additive to salads. My garden has begun yielding roma tomatoes, green bell peppers. The rest have not grown big enough yet, still tiny sprouts...
