I don't have much,
but all I need.
My sower heart
scatters its seed.

Each morn I greet
the rising sun;
each night I meet
whatever comes.

The day before
was kind to me,
but who is sure
the next will be?

As for today,
can any know?
Yet I have hope
and onward go.

I know worries
make me downcast,
but few ever
will come to pass.

Stephen,

We all have worries in our lives that sometime bring us down, Stephen. My saying is THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

Love and blessings,

A simple philosophy, Steve, gently expressed. I specially loved the first four stanzas, whose brevity so neatly reflected the mood of the poem. Possibly the slightly inconsistent meter in the final stanza made it a little less effective than the preceding ones, but I still enjoyed it very much. My best wishes to you, Sal.
