This "Alexandrism" was translated from the original in Mirandês, one of the languages spoken in Portugal - and at this moment I'm dedicating it to my dear friend Leland Waldrip... footprint after footprint of Light.

Poem Artwork

"May each day be a good day, with light before each step, even if the rain soaks the steps left behind. May you inhale as if breath were food, and exhale as if it were your thirst, free, being sated. And may you plant a smile now, and kindness next, and then a smile again. The harvest, bountiful, will happen every NOW... and NOW."

Dearest Alexandra:
As the recipient of this most gracious artistic blending of word and graphics I commend you. Your artistic talent in both areas is awesome and humbling. My mother would be proud to know that such beauty is lavished on her memory and my own appreciation of your powers is enhanced by the loveliness of the salving balm of this exquisite Alexandrism.
Many tender loving {{{{{{hugs}}}}}},
Leland

And may you plant a smile now, and kindness next, and then a smile again.

You are a marvelous planter of words.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
