Home coming
Standing at the port
Waiting for your ship to dock
I feel the wind of the sea
And taste its saltiness in the wind
Mighty nights have come and gone
Without you where you belong
In my arms and in my bed
My body screams out loud like a throng
Sadly as I shiver in the wind
Waiting for you to get off the cursed ship
The one that sailed with you, away from me
I see your sandy colored hair
My insides take a dive
I try to move but I am planted by emotion
Tears run down my face
I see you smile and the sun climbs high in the sky
You walk over and sweep me in your arms
I bury my face in you and draw in a breath
A smell I have missed for a forth night
One that will end this very night
