I fought for your body

No unmarked grave for you

A nice stone marks

where you lay your head

Right next to your Momma

that were you lay

Untill Jesus calls us all

to heaven someday

I laid you to rest in your

favorite western shirt

pearl snaps and plaid

you looked your best

You gave all you could

not much some might say

But, I'll love you my friend

till the end of my days

I'll remember brown eyes

and a ready smile

a gentle heart

you sought never to hurt

you loved me to much

But taking your life was the

biggest hurt of all

I wish I could have heard you,

did you even call?

I know that death is

just another journey

To see things a-new

People and family

all those we once knew

We'll all miss you here

on Earth

But rest well my friend

and forgive my tears

I just thought you'de be here

till our golden years......
