The Quality of Life There is a place we all can go, whether we’re rich or poor But it can be hard to find at times, when we long for more Finding the key is one part, while turning it is another But this key when correctly used, will uplift ¬ not smother How do we get to this place… Is there a map we can buy… This, my friends, is the tricky part, like humans learning to fly Flying is a metaphor like “having our head in the clouds” But this opens up new senses ¬ with very different sounds Have you heard the sound of the universe ¬ a constant miniscule buzz? It’s always there, for everyone, but hardly anyone does Take time to examine life, and the reason that they’re here Instead they’re far too busy, learning to live in fear Fear’s the thing to get rid of, and then you will be free To live your life with purpose ¬ that purpose is to see That everything is transient – in time, we too, will go It’s the quality of life that counts, and leaving seeds to sow.
