I read your words
I feel your pain
Longing to comfort you
In your despair.
If only to hear your voice again,
Music to my soul
Food for my heart.
I long to hear the phone ring
I watch it and wish it to be so
To find you at the other end
To feel your smile
Hear your laugh
Touch your mind.
If only to hear your voice again
To keep reminding me
That you are real.
I long for the playfulness
That your voice has
That I can’t read in your words.
Your breath in my ear
The gentleness of your thoughts
The longing we both have.
If only you would hear my voice
Calling you now.
Physically we may never meet,
Spiritually we are bonded
Two souls entwined
Touching only in words and sounds.
Paper, ink, airwaves keeps us together,
Distance, time, destiny keeps us apart.
Please love hear me calling you now,
Wanting, needing, hoping and
Yearning only
To hear your voice.

Beautiful even through the angst. If he doesn't call he's missing the boat. Your prescription is waiting, Balzar has it! I make love potions too! Gregg

Deep emotional bond stressed and carressed - very good write. I say just call whenever you want to call.

What a beautiful calling to hear one voice...
If he don't call, I will!
Blue eyed fish...
