A friend in need is a friend indeed,
What has happened to old values?

When Troubles Come

The things that happen to people impinge upon my mind,
,So many different stories, all of a varying kind,
Stories that arouse emotions, though there isn’t much we can do,
But listen and offer a helpful comment, maybe a cheery word or two,

Life has a unique way of playing funy tricks
Especially when we think all is right, our plans become unfixed,
The old saying states, the best laid plans of mice and men, are
apt to gang awry,
And we’re just left a wondering, not knowing the reason why

Life goes on for most of us, to a daily plan,
We pray for no upsets, Living as best we can,
More wrapped up with immediate things, too busy to be concerned,
With others troubles , the’re not for us, that’s a lesson we have learned,

Don’t interfere don’t get involved, it might rub off on us,,,
We don’t know the details yet, we don’t want to make a fuss,
Sometimes I just stop and think, it’s a point I don’t need to labour,
Whatever happened to friendships name, and command , to love thy neighbour,

Few of us can do much for anybody else. I do what I can, but in the final analysis, I can barely manage to take care of myself.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
