A poetic tirade obliterating patriarchal norms.

To a world that is as alien
to the west as Pluto to
candy floss
millions of extra terrestrials
and yet we scorn
their leaders
their patriarchy
as disgusting to maggots
as a fine palate
elite flies smothering
fine carcasses
pieces trickling through
sieve to sand -
bugs exalting in the feast

Malevolent East and West
pretensive comradery
bartering with bombs
pitted alien brother
against alien brother
to decimate a mockery
of a virtuous pedestal
the keeper of faiths -
birthplace of -

A world of western
fools captivated by
gross pomp and ceremony
‘A new spirit’ of what?

Piety - bow in disgust as
we slaughter you and your
brothers in the name of
errant misuse

Your words and actions
benefit only you
comforting only you as
you scorch from your
pedestals of fear
and your people rot

You are no brother of mine
your mother is a Martian
your uncle a beardless boy
your forefathers wander
Hades realm -
your sisters who claim you
women of ill repute

I deprive you of the very air you
breathe and hope your sands
multiply to smother your souls

Aliens you are -
not my aliens
not your mother’s aliens
not your sisters aliens
not your nieces aliens
as your mother, my belly
would be heaving
as I reach between my legs
to grab you by the head and
crush your skull -
slowly pulling you out and
then eating your pulsating
wretchedness to assuage
my guilt at your treacherous birth.

You betrayed me
at conception.
By my own hand I
created you and
by all that glows,
and grimaces,
I will take you out.

That was a wild ride. The concept of birthing a hybrid alien is widely used in science fiction and probably true because, at least in this world… Opposites attract. The outcome may be quite unattractive or beautiful and superior.
