Just what old age feels like. |

One day, I awoke
To nobody there
Was it me I saw
With a vacant stare?
A face I do not know
My eyes, no longer wide
But more fat-laden slits
That I do try to hide.
Older, I see now
With odd, faded skin
A teen is no more
As time sure did win.
Will the end come sooner?
Time seems to take it all-
Love, friends, and memories
As eternity calls.
