My muse wrote the title to this poem. The answer is not particularly succinct!

New radio
I walked through the rain tonight
I remembered how I used to run
To forget you

Reception remains stultified

I would run and run
And the air would fill
My lungs until my
Heart
Would finally cease from its' pain

The new broadcast doesn't come tonight
Except from hemispheres of yesterday
Not in the rain
Not from the walk

Back then when I just needed you
And you couldn't stand me or
The Southwest

New radio- New sunlight!
How I sued to beg you to stay
And you ran
North

I stayed South West

I stayed and started to die
Started to
Peal as soon
As I stayed up

I'm amused at you, leftist crazed liberal
Crazy little dilettante
Thinking and thinking
Until
You imagine you're right


I'm still lost in my walk
I'm still living in that tiny little place
Where I begged you
I begged you

Teach me
Love me
Hug me
Forget Peter

The walk tonight slit my wrists
Into Presbyterian Hospital I ramble
Always

When I entered they looked at me
So strange
Like I was mad
And they were sane

A bizarre broadcast
With Doctors looking at a
Bleeding heart
That they can't fathom herald
