I see what I see, so do you,
But what you see and what I see,
Is different as night and day,
I see cowboy boots, you see shoes.

You are worried about your life,
I hide scars within my psyche.
I fight demons, hold back my strife,
You ignore yours out of pure fright.

We all have our monsters to hide,
Mine's in a cage of self-control,
You let yours loose like Chucky's Bride,
Wrecking havoc is its main goal.

My brute, your beast, who holds the chain?
Mine is locked up and yours run free,
If let loose which causes more pain,
My captive or yours with the key/

I believe it's healthier to let the demons loose. Bottled up, they can cause havoc with your life.

We all have our own monsters, mine only on occasion do raise their hackles and crawl out of my ID, but when they do, beware, that is why I keep them at bay, hiding away in my apartment and the light of day...-e-

Some deep thinking here. Whether locked up or let loose, monsters are dangerous. Worst of all, don't hold a grudge. Grudges are held to hold.

Skeletons in the closet.
Monsters to hide.
Hang on tight,
Life is never a smooth ride.

You are so right, Jerry, we all have our monsters, but they are not the same. Each has to deal on his own with his own key. That's what it's all about.
