I could be wrong, but I am sensing that in this poem, you may be wary or tired of a particular situation, as you may have already tried many different things to solve a problem. Is it that you have solved a particular problem, but now you can not do any more in the situation? Or is it that you have finally decided to make your own choices and do "whatever you can do??" I am very interested in this poem.
