Destruction everywhere,
As one looks around,
Aghast and shocked,
How we tend to forget?
That natural disasters do exist,
Able to happen anywhere,
At any random time-
Catching us unaware,
And within seconds,
Everything is lost,
Precious lives,
All gone,
And we stand,
Witness,
To this horrid ruin,
Remembering,
The very value of life itself.
