Sometimes words are said into the air,
Without much thought, Or care,
The affects spread farther and deeper,
Like a stone thrown in a pond,
As circular ripples grow in water,
Without effort of calculation,
And the magnitude remains,
Of a few mere words,
Yet to be assumed.
An excellent elaboration on the hadith saying that the destructive impact of words is more deadly than that of arrows.
Very poetic and reflective-- and very convincing.
