It seems so degrading,
When some people see the right,
To categorize and undermine you,
An individual,
With so many different capabilities,
Talents, Gifts and interests,
Into a mere group,
That they have named,
With their very own terminology,
Far from your ideals of peace,
Yes- Islam is a way of life,
And it means submission to Allah,
Our Lord, Plain and simple,
I feel honoured,
As I am proud of being a Muslim,
A citizen of the world,
Respectful and righteous,
As I call unto you to do the same.
