A group of people gathered,
Sat on the floor in a circle,
Preparing for the holy ritual,
To cleanse their hearts,
And purify their soul,
Upon joining the "zhikr",
They started to chant slowly,
Repeating the names of Allah,
To reach the upgraded level,
Of a servant embracing,
Complete and Sublime awareness.
Its amazing what the vibration of a sound can do when used by a group of people in prayer, or comman thought. I have had this experience with the AMORC (Rosicirucian Order) Thanks for bring back this memory to me :-)
