While roaming thru the house of Morpheus
Many times I have espied her countenance
Her ethereal beauty always left me breathless
I looked forward to her nightly appearance

She slipped so easily into my unconsciousness
I looked forward to seeing her nightly visage
A shimmering wingless angel and enchantress
To whom I would nightly propose marriage

I’d follow her thru the hazy halls in my mind
Living with her a perfect life in the shadows
Twin hearts beating and eternally intertwined
Souls joined together in dreams of rainbows

My nights were spent falling under her spell
My days were spent searching crowds for her
For I knew only she, my longing could quell
Love was the quest and she was my answer

I prayed that my dreams could become real
Then one day her image I stumbled upon
When I found her, my joy I couldn’t conceal

I would not stop until her heart I had won
