Sunset

Watching the sunset across the flat lands.

Sunset


 


Sunset,


Is like an attestation


Of a heavenly stage


Gracing the clouds and sky,


Slowly descending into infinity


In an ongoing performance


Of darkness—


Falling.

Daughter Kathy down in New Mexico this week bet she is seeing some beautiful sunsets there. I watched beautiful ones in Bermuda with Tom in 1997. They were absurd. Glad I got the opportunity to view them. Always keeping them in my minds. Consoling me now that he has passed on into Heaven too.
