Excerpt from the novella "The Final Verse"

Verse Two

Earth is from which we are borne

Water is from which we are nourished

Wind is by which we are accelerated

But Fire

Fire is from which I give unto you

 

A simple spark

given life by fate

Blown quickly into flame

until all that surrounds me

is utterly consumed

 

I revel in it

I cherish every moment of it

I siphon all of my strength from it

A sublime inferno

it's passion engulfing my world entire
