Faith Keeper
November 20, 2012
I saw it for myself last night
Iron clad in feather clothing
She could run for miles
On the air’s elixir
Knock-knock-knocking at her door
A thousand sunsets
No promises of the tomorrows
Just hits from the yesterdays
And a million wishes o’er a rainbow
Streaking through the clouds of doubt
Faith is not for the faint of heart
But she knows the will of ways
When the darkness finally fell
A derailed wind was again rising
As she welcomed in the dawn
I saw it for myself last night
