They tell me my fate is in God's hands, yet still they pray
They tell me I’ve fallen, that I've been led astray
But perhaps, not unlike the terrified toad
Scurrying, scurrying away down the road
It's the truth of the lie that they try to accost
Safe on a lily pad shimmering with frost
The king on his throne survives another day
Champion of the wit, the will, and the way
Some may say it's the lie of the truth. :) A rather unique poem from a most agile and free mind.
Love ya!
