Love is the answer
when life is to blame.
People who mean well
can hurt you just the same.
But why choose to be bitter?
Choose to be kind.
For love is the answer
all of the time.
You can become angry
and hate everything,
but choose to be happy
no matter what life brings.
For you’re closer to Heaven,
whenever you smile
and pick yourself up
and laugh like a child.
A child soon forgets
anger held in his heart
and that gives him the chance
to have a new start.
Letting go of anger and resentment brings a lot of happiness. We the adults need to teach the children, but sometimes the reverse is true.
You are accurate when you say, "choose to be happy," and "Choose to be kind" because it is a choice.
