who knows the dark places...only those who have ventured....

manhood.....

We all grew to manhood together
in our pubic boasting
i could never match the beard growth
of a gorilla
we fought in dance halls
of low repute
drank heavy beer
shagged at will
and dressed in mod
suited attire

swanked our fill of wyde
eyed lassies
rough and tumble
was the game
and donnachaidh
the name
i swept through lyfe
a demon in tight pants
hot and certainly bothered
by ants

played the game o’ luve and
leftover emotions
sank into
oblivion's’ depth
but re-surfaced
wi’ a bruised ego
but ready once more
for the female challenge
knowing what to expect and to be aware of ...
the onslaught of verbal abuse..
severed scrotum ...
no longer of interest by ballsy femme enamoured now by her own vexations ...
cardinal sins heaped upon my silly self

i grew to manhood together with
the men in my lyfe
sang and frolick’d
a sloe eyed juicy boy
soft and forever tender
wandered i
‘mongst flowers scented
luving all but
knowing none
feeling coldness
within ....

irish meadow green and deadly
lovely
crawl i in dew drop
icy morn sweat
slinky sly...am i
he never knew me
nor i him
only the blade
sheffield steel
caressing
rebellious
throat..

We grew to manhood together
they died foolishly
my pontius pious hands
washed red..
with the blood of
rebellious boys
who thought of me as
a soft and tender
sloe eyed
juicy
boy..

I could never make debauchery as sexy as you do. You know we all have our poisons... I need pain to write. I need misery to write. You need lust among other things. I must say I envy you.
