Gift of life
so holy and sacred
Each day a chance
to bring love and serenity
in a sometimes chaotic world
To the reader my prayer will be
that you may feel some
peace and compassion through me
Knowing this is asking a lot
but ya know with Jesus
I may have a shot
So humbly I offer my prayer
now to you
that you may find
peace and happiness too
