Good Night Jesus

My prayer tonight.

Good night Jesus

May I sleep with

the serenity you alone can give

 

May I awake with a

eager and generous

heart to do your will

 

May my life

be a small reflection

of your love and forgiveness

 

May I be as Mother

Teresa would say

a pencil in your hand

 

I ask this knowing

I am very human but even

with my weaknesses I ask

 

Good night Jesus

I close my eyes

Thinking only of you
