It lingers deep in desert canyons
wafting with a gentle glow
over jagged rocks and dusty hollows
marking every crevice

hard to hold

and yet
so worth the effort!

Breathless Night

It tarries long in windsept caves
drifting on as blameless snow
atop the knolls where shadow follows
imprinting firm on every trail
refusing to be captive
but still
remaining priceless...
Hold firm... love long!
