Beautiful verses by a beautiful author. Makes me want springtime to come to see that cherry tree outside my window blossum again and the birds sing their love songs again. Have to get through winter first though. Good write.
I love cherries, after reading the poem, like many of us we do not see our beauty, but then, something happens, and we blossom into God's gift of splendor, great to see this view.
You have written in such a way that I was able to see the rose petals, and smell them. This is a beautiful poem, and I love the imagery.

Enjoyed this piece, especially the tension created between the literal and figurative. I have no idea if this was your intention but . . . "Your silky petals sacred - too delicate to hold" was a pivotal phrase in the piece for me personally. With this phrase you created a sensory illusion that you are not only embracing natures reemergence in the spring, and the unfathomable beauty that accompanies such, but also a vision of inexpressible love with another.
mercy me, the imagery in this is stunning! I am in the same mind as Michelle, this reminded me a great deal of japanese paintings and verse in its subject and presentation...one of the better romance of nature works I have seen in quite a while.

A real beauty- made me think of the cherry blossom tree and the simplicity of asian art.
