The time is noon; surely then it isn't dew. It has been there an hour, so surely it isn't water. It glistens like a little ball of hope, Yea, even of promise there, for me. Perhaps's it is sap budding ooze Or a bird birthing. I salute to the sun - and me After my erstwhile prayer.
