I fret for, weep
For those who caressed my soul
With their different flavored, enriched sameness
Of me.
They are the star fire
That lights me
Through life's prison
Bars of time, distance and
Circumstance
That separate me from them -
We will at last unite in the
Effulgent's amalgamation
Of counterpart
Else God is merely tease
And torment and religion
Compulsive sacrament.
Faith is its own mandate.
If not faithful to itself
May hell predominate
And I all present and past and
Forever hate.
