I think this poem can relate to so many, and different religions, different God's. The poem gives hope and understand, with and without beliefs, and does so understanding.
What do I mean When I say God? A man on a cloud Dispensing curses And blessings With insouciant abandon? No - I mean that entity I've never seen Nor dreamed But know exists - That is - And knows - Knows all And wields With justice That succumbs To mercy When the heart Is right. For After all I breathe And am aware. What other reason Could there be Then that There is An entity A force A presence A reality That reflects In all That is. On this Blue jewel Apt oaf, Adrift In eternity - The heart of All the cosmos, Pulsing with life. Echoing what it creates Now
