Finding closure in life is like looking into mirrors,
And scared what you might see, as it might be your own face
And shadow, and memories of good and bad, and dealing with
And facing, but knowing you are trying to reach closure.
Finding closure means facing things you hate to face.
Emotions, death, life and uncertain steps on your life,
But knowing they bring you closer to your life in stride,
And growing and wisdom on the way. Hard to reach
On the way, but longing for closure.
Closure is a time to forgive or think about it,
Time to cry while you realize yourself,
Time to think of times gone by
While you think of your own growth,
That others teach you to listen by. Or try to.
Closure is the tears you shed
The times ones told you to understand,
And you did. Or at least tried to.
Closure is the smiles on the way,
The smiles and memories that crossed
So many ways. People, so caring.
Closure should not be miss understood,
(I did not spell that wrong).
Closure is what makes us cry and fight for
Emotions, no matter how we belong.
And smiles, reminding us that we
Belong and were strong. And make a point to do this.
Closure is dealing with yourself,
As you have got to get there before anyone else,
To face their smiles and their ways, of in
Hopes to face your own, to reach theirs as
Yours as well. I think you understand.
If facing closure, you do.
Concerning closure, remember that
Time and emotions tell with so much
Expressed so well in your heart.
The depressed feelings help go away
With those who help you stay or understand
Closure, and teach you or try to reach you.
Closure is a wisdom of life, though hard,
Expressed in so many ways.
Closure takes time and wraps you in
In emotions, to deal, to love, to forgive
And sometime to try and to forget
Closure.
Your words of wisdom makes a person think about their own life and wonder if closure will come to them, as it seems to have come to you in your heart and mind. Anyone, (with any sense), can relate to each line of truth. The words eat at you and tear into your soul.
This was so beautiful, it made me cry. And while the tears were running down my flushed cheeks, it made me think of what I need to do. Thank you so much for the insight and soul searching. Your friend, Paula.
