We talk of Time but do not know
What? Why? 0r How? It's so
It sometimes flies, or just crawls
Or stands still, not move at all
To the young it barely moves
For elders 'tis a stead on hooves
Time seems really everywhere
All around us just like air
We try to measure it some how
In seconds, minutes, hours, then, now
Centuries, eras, eons, infinity.
Just attempts- with no certainty
Yet we do not know what's Time
Ever elusive, vague, sublime
Well stated in a few words. I am so dependent upon constant updates of time to know when to do certain things that I would totally lose track of it except for night and day which would tell that I was starting a new day the next morning. Thank goodness we don't have to change our clocks every six months anymore. Milk cows will love it!
