* My response to Sally Odgers' OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD poem:

1

A friendship with a subtle tune,

Can live to see many a moon.

If we lived close there’d be no need

To write these words we love to read.

How true we never touch nor voice

But we’ve got poetry and choice.

Creation flows through you to me

Our words are born of destiny.

Your story gift, quite not the least,

Is finding beauty within beast:

Were-girls and woodsy heroines --

Oh blessed how I am of your friends!

I am indeed delighted to read this response in a public forum. Sara and I share a lot, despite our physical distance. :-)

If we lived close there’d be no need
To write these words we love to read.

How TRUE...it seems that distance tends to warm the heart allowing it to open and spill its inner gems..
Thankyou ..a most touching write...
