As if I could describe twilight with mere mortal words, or the scent of lilac on the wind on an early spring morn, a candle's flicker breaking and bathing the dark, or the laughter of children playing in the park
As if I could capture the melody of crickets song in the field, or how things once only imagined have a way of becoming real, the way strawberries taste on the edge of my tongue, or the tingle inside me when I'm coming undone
As if there ever could be sounds that would speak to intangible moments of life's great mystique, the silence you may witness from taut vocal chords is merely love in motion and there simply are no words
