Something lingers about
untouchable, but touching with pain...
Something Lingers …
Something lingers about untouchable, but touching with pain... Something whispers to me, "Shout! Scream! Pray, then maybe something will not return Again."
And yet, something always does settle in... It could be a voice, filled with accents... Laughter, teasing memories of when I last heard, I last felt, I last absorbed her scent...
Something sits in the dimly lit room, Waiting under the dust of time...and fear. It may be porcelain, or plaster shadowed in gloom, Something that died in a long ago...so near.
Something that brought a smile...gentle touch Of joy to have for the memory of a pet, A gentle touch of love that was, ohhh...is too much For this something within to let me forget...
Good loving times remembered of someone and won't let you forget but linger on in hour heart. A gentle touch of love beautiful words and Love Makes the World go Round too.
wow it bring back memories of something lingers and yet I do not rememers just what it might be but yet it something special that will last and never go away.... Thanks for shearing this wonderful Poem with us...
