Melancholia becomes a salve, a companion in open waters.

She holds the sash that circled her flowing spirit. Loosely, her fingers -- threading, rethreading melodies of the song -- she sings now again -- -- she sings for herself -- for a watchful moon -- - -- as the ribbon lets her go, unbinding her turn to be unafraid -- of everything. ~~~~

Inspiring message as the song unfolds.

Love this. You are the mistress of the cryptic word, packed with meaning, the theory that less is more, an image of the sash ripe with meaning binding the poem together into a unified whole, not to mention the brilliant last four lines.
